Q: I'm in the stages of growing my hair out. I'm trying to get it to the length of Patrick Dempsey (the doctor off "Grey's Anatomy'). The question I have is: I'm currently using V05 reworkable putty. I like it, however I'm trying to go for the shine look without the product getting hard and making my hair hard.

I was wondering if there is any product out there that gives you the shine and does not get hard something like vaseline or something along those lines, any help would be greatly appreciated.

A: The product I use most for the look you are describing is called Citre Shine Highly Polished Gloss Pomade. It is thick and feels a lot like petroleum jelly, but has a refreshing citrus smell.

The great thing about the product is that it can be applied and then heated with a blow dryer to make it extremely malleable, or simply worked through already dried hair to add definition curls or a clean, crisp line to partings.

The product works very well in conjunction with the Citre Shine Spray Laminator, which is made of fruit oils and designed to add a glossy sheen to the hair and protect against the elements.
